Farewell Cambridge Reporter Readers!

After serving the Cambridge community for over 150 years, the Cambridge Reporter is closing its doors. Founded in 1846, the Reporter became a trusted source for local news, covering everything from city council meetings to high school sports.

The reasons for the closure haven’t been made public, but it undoubtedly marks a turning point for local journalism in Cambridge. The Reporter played a vital role in fostering a sense of community and keeping residents informed.

We at The Cambridge Reporter are saddened to see the Reporter go. For generations, it provided a platform for local voices and held those in power accountable. Its legacy of in-depth reporting and commitment to Cambridge will be remembered.

While the Reporter’s printing press may fall silent, the stories it shared and the connections it built will undoubtedly continue to resonate within the community. Thank you, Cambridge Reporter, for faithfully serving your city for over a century and a half.
